Corinna Jenkins Tucker, Ph.D., C.F.L.E., is the Director of the Sibling Aggression and Abuse Research and Advocacy Initiative (SAARA), which is located at the Crimes against Children Research Center, University of New Hampshire. She is also a Professor Emerita of Human Development and Family Studies. She is well known for her research on children’s and adolescents’ sibling relationships, particularly her empirical work on sibling aggression and victimization, and parenting. Tanya Rouleau Whitworth, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist for the Sibling Aggression and Abuse Research and Advocacy Initiative (SAARA), which is located at the Crimes against Children Research Center, University of New Hampshire. She is a sociologist who studies the impacts of parenting and other family relationships on children’s and adolescents’ well-being. Her research has been published in the Journal of Marriage and Family, Gender & Society, and Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health. Whitworth’s current research focuses on sibling sexual abuse and barriers to help-seeking for sibling aggression and abuse. Her work for SAARA involves spreading awareness about sibling aggression and abuse by translating scientific research for practitioners and the public, with the goal of promoting effective prevention and intervention.
