Susan Carnell, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) at Johns Hopkins University. Dr Carnell's research focuses on the psychological and biological drivers of appetite. She has a special interest in the role of the brain in eating behavior, the influence of parental feeding style on children's weight, and how genes and environment interact to cause child obesity.
