Gamze Arman Ph.D.

About

Dr. Gamze Arman works at the University of the West of England in Bristol (UK) as a senior lecturer. She is an industrial/organizational psychologist, career researcher, and coach. In her research, she primarily focuses on the role of unique contexts in career development, along with other aspects of work. While advancing in her research and teaching roles, she has always been keen on addressing the scientist-practitioner gap and has become involved in several applied projects related to consulting and training. This quest led her to coaching, and as an accredited career coach, she supports the career progression of workers in multicultural environments, with a specific focus on high-skilled immigrants and expatriates.

Gamze earned her bachelor’s and master's degrees in psychology from Bogazici University and Koc University (Istanbul, Turkey), and her doctorate in industrial/organizational psychology from DePaul University (Chicago, IL, USA).
