Cathrine Jansson-Boyd, Ph.D., is a Consumer Psychologist based at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK. She conducts research within a wide-ranging area within the field of consumer psychology but has a particular interest in touch, multi-sensory perception, aesthetics, and sustainable consumption. Cathrine has written many science-based articles and books all focussed on different aspects of consumer psychology.

Cathrine runs an MSc in Consumer Psychology and teaches the subject to undergraduate students as well as supervising Ph.D. students.

Throughout her academic career she has frequently conducted research for and assisted businesses in furthering their understanding of the underlying psychology of consumers.
