Juana Park Ph.D.

Juana Park, Ph.D., got her Licentiate degree in Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), her Master’s Degree in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Paris Descartes (France), and her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Alberta (Canada).

Since 2020, she has been working as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the American University of Sharjah (UAE), where she teaches courses such as Cognitive Psychology, Psychology of Bilingualism, and Psychology of Language Development while conducting research on metaphor processing among bilingual speakers.

Growing up bilingual and bicultural and having the opportunity to live in four different countries has allowed her to cultivate her interest in languages (she is fluent in Spanish, French, English, and Korean and is currently learning Arabic).
