Jeffrey Borenstein, M.D.

Jeffrey Borenstein, M.D., is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and serves as the Chair of the Section of Psychiatry at the Academy. He is president and CEO of the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. Borenstein developed, hosted, and is executive producer of the Emmy-nominated public program Healthy Minds. The series, broadcast nationwide, is available online and focuses on topics in psychiatry. Borenstein is also Editor-in-Chief of the American Psychiatric Association's publication Psychiatric News. He has also served as the President of the New York State Psychiatric Association. Borenstein earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard and his medical degree at New York University.
