Phil Lane, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist in private practice in New Jersey. He specializes in the treatment of anxiety and panic disorders, depression, mood disorders, and adjustment disorders. Prior to opening his private practice, he worked in community mental health settings with children, adolescents, families, and adults. He is the author of the book, Understanding and Coping with Illness Anxiety. Lane is an anxiety and panic survivor himself and his clinical practice is based in empathy, humanism, and understanding of clients' unique life situations and challenges. Though he draws from various theories and orientations, he has a special interest in Narrative Therapy, Existential Psychotherapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Humanistic Psychology.
