Sophie Jacobi-Parisi, J.D., M.S.W., is a partner at Blank Rome LLP in New York City. For nearly two decades, she has concentrated her practice in all aspects of family law, including prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, divorce, and complex custody and child support issues. Her Masters in Social Work has provided her with a significant base of knowledge for how to effectively represent clients both in and out of the courtroom during some of the most sensitive and highly charged times of their lives. Sophie has extensive litigation and trial experience dating back to her graduate work at the Chicago Federal Defender’s office and The New York Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice, where she represented children in legal proceedings in the Bronx Family Court.

Sophie is frequently called upon to serve as a guest speaker on matrimonial and family law issues for legal organizations, bar associations, publications, and podcasts, in addition to being asked to serve in the role as an expert on the validity of New York Prenuptial Agreements in Connecticut.
