Rick Miller is a clinical social worker in private practice in Boston and on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He is the author of Unwrapped: Integrative Therapy with Gay Men … the Gift of Presence (2015). In addition, he is a contributing author to For Couples: Ten Commandments for Every Aspect of Your Relationship Journey (2012).

Rick developed the curriculum on hypnotherapy with gay men that is used by both the Milton Erickson Institute of Mexico City and the National Autonomous University of Mexico, also in Mexico City.

Rick has and active national and international schedule, including having been a guest lecturer at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa, and serving on the faculties of the International Society of Hypnosis, the Brief Therapy Conference, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, Harvard Medical School, the Psychotherapy Networker, and most recently, the Couples Conference.
