About

Rafa Euba is a retired seasoned consultant psychiatrist, based in London. He was born in the Basque Country, Spain. After qualifying in Medicine, he became a psychiatrist in England, where he has worked in many different settings, from exclusive private clinics to poor slums.

He has lectured in several universities and written many articles in the general and academic press, as well as three books. The latest is You Are Not Meant to Be Happy. So Stop Trying! (Crux Publishing). I developed an interest in happiness through my work in treatment-resistant depression. An article he wrote on this subject has been republished numerous times and translated into many languages.

He is married and has a young daughter.
